Learn about the centuries-old procedure of mummification and you can see the difference between the modern technique and the old technique. You can also admire painted sarcophagi and god statues.
In hall 3 there’s an exhibition around the theme “The Afterlife”. Let yourself be guided in a world of the Egyptians of then, 5000 years ago. In their “Afterlife” you as a diseased will travel to the “Afterlife”. Secret rituals and spell helped you throughout the journey.
This exhibition is also very fit for children. For children in the age category of 8 until 12 years there’s a scavenger hunt about Dummy the Mummy. Can you manage to unravel the code? How fun is it to write your in in hieroglyphs? For the children in this age category, there are made a special search and do books, where Dummie the Mummy takes the children through the exhibition.
